Solas Festival is looking for new members to join our board to support the delivery of one of Scotland’s friendliest small festivals. These will include a new treasurer. Applications by 4 October 2024.
About Solas Festival:
Solas Festival aims to entertain, inspire and challenge, and to celebrate music, arts, ideas and community. Our programme makes space for challenging debate with activists, writers and thinkers from across the political, cultural and religious spectrum. The festival aims to create a welcoming space where festival goers of all ages and from a range of backgrounds can come together in a safe environment; everyone is welcome.
Solas Festival has runs as a weekend-long celebration since 2010. We look forward to gathering again at Errol in Perthshire from 20-22 June 2025.
What we are looking for:
We welcome applications from those with previous board experience and those who are new to a board. We particularly, but not exclusively, welcome candidates with expertise or experience in the following areas:
• Finance (for the treasurer role)
• The arts, in particular music, theatre and visual
• Business and income generation/sponsorship
