Cyber security and protecting your business

Andrew Perry, 2020

Cyber attacks are increasing across all sectors and becoming more sophisticated. Are you protected? Laura Irvine (Davidson Chalmers Stewart LLP) explores the threats and the simple steps organisations can take to protect themselves online.

It’s vital for all organisations to be aware both of the threats of cybercrime and also the simple steps that can be taken to minimise the risk of financial loss, which don’t require technical expertise but can be learned through this immersive Business Briefing. During the session, and using real examples, Laura will address:

  • What hackers are doing and the damage that email compromise can cause
  • What help you should seek and obtain should you be hacked
  • Non-technical steps you can take to avoid becoming a victim
  • How you can miminise the risk of financial loss

Please note that our Business Briefings are designed to provide completely up-to-date information so topic details within each session may change to reflect this.

Ideal if… you look after your culture organisation’s IT and/or HR set ups – no technical expertise required!
